Butch, I cannot say enough how wonderful everything was. Everyone raved about the food! You presented it beautifully. Your delicious food combined with the great, fun atmosphere of Big Truck Theater - a perfect celebration of the marriage of Meg and Ryan Annison!

Visited for first time Saturday night, July 31, 2010. Atmosphere was awesome! Loved the old store feeling, brought back many memories of times gone by. However, the service was awful and the hostess was lacking any personality whatsoever. Blackened catfish was great! Regret not getting dessert, I know it would have to be magnificent. This being my first visit, I would have to try again just to see if it was an off night for the terribly "sour" hostess and the slow service. There is no excuse for a bad hostess, however, their were probably just not enough servers to handle a Saturday night crowd. That I can forgive. Will try again soon to see if I can get the "total" good experience of Taylor Grocery!

Butch catered a Taylor Grocery Catfish Fry to one of my client offices in town. WOW! What a hit! He made me look good, and definitely reflected well on Taylor Grocery. Would highly recommend their catering services anytime. And, MAN, that was some good food!

Butch, Just wanted to say thank you again for catering our son's rehearsal dinner. It was absolutely fabulous, just like you said it would be. The boiled shrimp were great, and we enjoyed the time to visit before dinner. The catfish was just delicious! My brother ( a catfish connoisseur) said it was by far the best he has ever had. I loved the hushpuppies too. Everything was hot and ready for us and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Thanks so much fro starting our wedding weekend off right! Hotty Toddy!

Just want to say, when I was living in Oxford in the late '80's, all my husband and I could think about was getting our fill at Taylor Grocery! Food was to die for, service great, and the atmosphere was lively and fun! I live back in Los Angeles now, but consider a move back to the South, in part because I miss Taylors! My mouth is watering...

Butch, Thanks so much for working with us to provide lunch for the area teachers and administrators. The food was excellent, as usual. Thanks for all you do!

Butch, thank you for helping make LOFT's fundraiser with "The Four Tops" a huge success! The meatballs, crawfish dip and shrimp dip were all yummy. On behalf of the board of LOFT, thank you!!

The catfish and hushpuppies we ordered for our tailgate were great. They impressed the "hell out of LSU" guests that we were graciously entertaining. In fact, the few leftover pieces of catfish I shared at work on Monday, were better than other places fresh hot offerings. Thanks, and we'll do it again.
